Hope dance course Multi level

Don't feel like going to the gym, but want to be mindful of movement? Then hoopdance is really something for you! During the lessons you learn to dance gracefully with a hula hoop on great music. Throw away all your stress and worries with challenging tricks and movements, because thinking about your problems and hula hooping don't go together.

Your body becomes more supple and flexible, your condition improves, your eye-hand coordination improves, you gain more self-confidence, your corestability improves, you burn 400 calories per hour, you become slimmer and last but not least, you get a smile on your face!

Get carried away in the world of hoopdance and before you know it you're dancing with a hula hoop. Warning: it can be very addictive 😉 Anita hasn't stopped dancing since 2011 and is still learning new things.

  • The course is multi-level, which means that you do not have to be an absolute beginner to take part in the course. All levels are welcome. 

Some examples of tricks that can be performed: shoulderhooping, breaks, jumps, weaves, isolations, elbows and all kinds of on- and offbody tricks. Anita combines the different tricks into a short choreography, but also challenges you to discover new connections yourself. The groups are small, so there is enough personal attention for everyone.

The course lasts 5 lessons, but it is possible to take this course several times. The lessons are different every time. Are there certain tricks you would like to learn? Please contact us or report it to Anita. After every lesson you will receive a recap movie, so you can continue practising at home.

Hoopdance course beginners

Would you like to learn how to hula hoop or do you already know a bit and would you like to learn more? Is that one trick just not working? Anita is not only a hoopdance teacher, but she is also a Mensendieck remedial therapist (specialising in posture and movement) and she would love to help you change that. Before you know it, you'll be able to do a lot of hooping and be smiling as you play to nice music. You don't have to be an absolute beginner to join this course. You can also take it several times, the course is different every time. We work with a small group, so there is enough personal attention for everyone. The course has lessons of 1,5 hour and lasts 5 weeks.

Hope dance course Intermediate / Advanced

When you have mastered the basics of hoopdance you are ready for this course. You will learn shoulder hopping, knee hopping, angle hooping, different duck outs, jumps, breaks, elbows, wedgies, isolations, folds, escalators, smears, mandalas, body rolls and much more. You learn sequences to let the tricks flow nicely into each other. You learn dance and hoop combinations in a fun choreography and you work on developing your own flow in your hoop dance. The more advanced you become, the more challenging the combinations become. The focus is on dance & flow and your development. Anita always works with small groups, so you get enough attention. If you have special wishes or requests, don't hesitate to contact us and we will take it into account. After every lesson you will receive a recap movie, so you can practice at home.
